Cherry bark container
Size is 180cm tall and 10cm x 7cm across the oval lid and base.
Made using the bark from the native British cherry tree, this handy sized pot is suitable for all sorts of things and when it was made I had the kids coloring pens in mind for some reason. There isn't a second inner liner on this one so unless bagged, you might not want to put loose food stuffs in there. Tea bags etc. would be fine though.
Or perhaps use as a decoration for traditional crafts. A solid wooden lid and base are used along with a nifty hazel pegged handle.
Stitched together with Lime bast cordage, and re-enforced at the top and bottom rims with strips of sweet chestnut bark, held in a traditional locked tab.
